About Tilly Lilly
Tilly Lilly was the nickname given to me by my Mother Dearest. Tilly Lilly is a new bespoke business that I have recently started because of my love of creative textiles and a lot of encouragement from friends and family.
Over the past year I have been based in my hometown of Bournemouth, UK. I knew nothing about running a business but I had an idea and a passion. I was introduced to Outset, Bournemouth, a government backed organization who taught me about running my own business from a-z, Tilly Lilly was born.
Coming up, Tilly Lilly is about to move to the sunny Caribbean island of St. Maarten to set up shop in warmer climates. Previously, for 5 1/2 years I have lived and worked in France, mainly the South as a Stewardess in the Luxury Yachting Industry for 4+years. The remainder of my time in France was spent in the North cocooned in a little village near Belgium which had all the picturesque beauty of the French countryside in the Champagne-Ardenne region where I rediscovered my love for handmade crafts and design.
In 2008 I graduated in BA (Hons) Textile Design from University College Falmouth where I specialized in mixed media trimmings.

Approach
I love the whole design process from that initial lightning bolt of inspiration to the collecting of materials , the making and finally to receiving feedback from happy customers. To design and create something, for me, is incredibly personal. I put my heart and soul into producing the best I can because my best is all I can give.
